Read this immediately following "Dragon Bound", so it was easy to compare and contrast the story and characters.Thea Harrison writes an exciting and fast paced plot. I enjoy this type of writing, because the book is always easier to read. Tricks and Tiagos were really likable characters and never doubted for an instance their feelings for each other. I just love the devotion they felt to each other and each other's happiness. They really relied on and appreciated each others strengths. This is easily a 5-star book, probably because the similarities with "Dragon Bound" are the traits I enjoyed and the differences made it just as special as the first.
